Frankie & The Heartstrings
Frankie & The Heartstrings is an English indie rock band formed in Sunderland,
England, in December 2008 by vocalist Frankie Francis, guitarist Michael
McKnight, and drummer Dave Harper. The group’s debut release was the live EP
12.09.09 in November 2009, followed by the double A-side single “Hunger /
Fragile” on Rough Trade Records. The band signed with Pop Sex Ltd and Wichita
Recordings to release the debut studio album Hunger, which debuted at number 32
