Frank Lenz, born June 18, 1967 in San Leandro, California, is an American
drummer known for his work with various bands and artists. His early career
involved collaborations with acts such as Richard Swift, The Weepies, Everest,
Pedro the Lion, Starflyer 59, Lassie Foundation, Duraluxe, Map, and Charity
Empressa. Lenz's breakthrough came in December 2003 when he was voted Artist of
the Year by American webzine Somewhere Cold. His solo work began with The Hot
