Foster Emerson Sylvers, born on February 25, 1962, in the United States of
America, is a singer known for his contributions to soul music. His career began
with the release of his debut album Foster Sylvers in June 1973. The first
single from this album, "Misdemeanor", written by his brother Leon Sylvers III,
became a hit that summer, reaching number 7 on the Billboard R&B chart. This
success was followed by a cover of Dee Clark's "Hey Little Girl", which charted
