For Real is an American R&B and soul quartet formed in 1990 in Los Angeles. The
group, consisting of Josina Elder-Epps, Latanyia Baldwin, Wendi Williams, and
Necia Bray-Gates, secured their recording contract by accident when they
performed an a cappella song at the airport to greet their manager, who was
accompanied by an A&M Records representative. For Real released their debut
album, It's a Natural Thang, in March 1994 on A&M Records. The album included
the singles "You Don't Wanna Miss", which peaked at number 28 on the Billboard
Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, and "Easy to Love...
