Floyd Domino is an American musician from California, known for his work in
Western swing. Introduced to the genre by musicians from Texas and Oklahoma in
the 1930s and 1940s, Domino began his career with a foundation in jazz,
boogie-woogie, swing, and blues piano. At age 19, he joined Asleep at the Wheel,
remaining for seven years before becoming an "AATW Alumnus." He has collaborated
with notable artists such as Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, George Strait, and
