Flake was an Australian pop and rock band from Sydney established in 1968. The
ensemble was founded by guitarist Lindsay Askew, bassist Mick Gaul, lead
vocalist Geoff Gray, lead vocalist Sharon Sims, drummer Wayne Thomas, and
keyboardist Rob Toth. They were named after the Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake album and
performed their debut concert on November 14, 1968. In 1969, they added flute
and saxophone player Dave Allen, after which the group underwent regular lineup
