Five by Five
Five by Five were an American garage rock ensemble from Arkansas active between
the late 1960s and early 1970s. The group consisted of the musicians Ronnie
Plants, Bill Merritt, Tim Milam, Larry Andrews, and Doug Green. Their recording
career began with the debut studio recording Next Exit (1968) released through
the label Paula Records. They achieved professional recognition for the track
"Fire" (1968) which reached number 52 on the Billboard charts. Their discography
includes several singles released between 1967 and 1971.
