Finn Bjørn Kalvik, born on April 30, 1947 in Fåvang, Norway, is a Norwegian
singer and composer. He moved to Oslo's working-class district of Grorud with
his family in 1952. Early in his career, Kalvik found success by setting music
to the poetry of popular Norwegian writers André Bjerke and Inger Hagerup. His
breakthrough came in 1969 with the song "Finne meg sjæl." He released several
albums that reached top positions on the Norwegian record charts, including
Tusenfryd Og Grå Hverdag (1971) and Finn (1972). Kalvik represented Norway in
