Finch, a Dutch progressive rock group, was formed in 1974 by bassist Peter Vink
and drummer Beer Klaasse. Guitarist and composer Joop van Nimwegen joined soon
after, having previously played with Vink in Q65, and the band focused on
instrumental rock due to the lack of a vocalist. Keyboardist Paul Vink joined
briefly but was soon replaced by Cleem Determeijer. Their debut album Glory of
the Inner Force was released in 1975 through Negram in the Netherlands and
ATCO/Atlantic in the United States, receiving positive reviews. The second album
