Felix Bernard
Félix William Bernhardt, better known as Félix Bernard, and born in New York
City on April 28, 1897, was a conductor, pianist, and composer. He began his
musical journey as a professional pianist from childhood, studying under his
father and later at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Bernard's early career
included writing one-act musical comedies for vaudeville and touring with the
Orpheum and Keith Vaudeville Circuit. His breakthrough came with compositions
