Fay-Ann Lyons-Alvarez, born Fay-Ann Lyons on November 5, 1980, in Point Fortin,
Trinidad and Tobago, is a soca recording artist and songwriter. She began her
career as a member of the band Invazion led by Naya George and later became an
official member of the Asylum band founded by her husband, Bunji Garlin. Her
breakthrough came with the release of "Display" in 2003, which won the Carnival
Road March title. Lyons went on to win the same title again in 2008 with "Get
