Carlos Fausto Bordalo Gomes Dias, born 26 November 1946 in Vila Franca das Naves, Portugal and known as Fausto, was a singer and composer. He released his debut LP Fausto in 1970 through Philips. Over the next decades, he issued albums such as Por Este Rio Acima (1982), Para Além das Cordilheiras (1987), and the live collection Grande Grande É a Viagem (1999), collaborating with José Afonso, Sérgio Godinho, and others.
