Born in New York's Brooklyn neighborhood on September 26, 1967, Timothy Brown is
better known as Father MC or Father. An R&B rapper and singer, his greatest
success came with his debut album Father's Day (October 1990), featuring four
hits: "Treat Them Like They Want to Be Treated" (#1 on the rap charts), "I'll Do
4 U" (#20 on the Billboard Hot 100 and also #1 on the rap charts, #14 on the R&B
