Falta y Resto was a carnival group (murga) from Uruguay, formed in June 1980 in
Montevideo's Capurro neighborhood. Known for their innovative approach in the
murga category, they released their first album, Falta y resto, in 1981. The
group gained significant recognition with albums like Canto de barrio en barrio
(1982) and Murga LA... (1983), earning two consecutive first prizes at the
