Facção Central, a Brazilian hip-hop group formed in 1989 in São Paulo, was known
for its aggressive style and socially conscious lyrics. The group's lineup
stabilized in 1995 with Dum-Dum and Eduardo Taddeo as rappers and Garga as the
DJ. Their debut album Juventude de Atitude (Youth of Attitude) was released in
1995, featuring "Roube Quem Tem" ("Steal from Those Who Have"). In 1998, Estamos
de Luto (We Are Mourning) followed with DJ Erick 12 replacing Garga. The group's
