F4, a Taiwanese boy band consisting of Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, Ken Chu, and Vic
Chou, was formed in 2001 following their portrayal of a fictional group in the
Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden. The series, an adaptation of the Japanese shōjo
manga Hana Yori Dango, propelled them to pan-Asian popularity. In 2001, F4
signed with Sony Music Taiwan and released their debut album, Meteor Rain, which
included popular tracks such as "Can't Help Falling in Love" from Walt Disney's
