Evil Nine
Evil Nine, an electronic music duo comprising Tom Beaufoy and Pat Pardy, formed
in Brighton, United Kingdom, in 1998. Their musical style has been primarily
classified as breakbeat. After meeting in Brighton, the duo sent a demo cassette
to Adam Freeland's Marine Parade record label, which led to their signing. Their
first release was the single "Less Stress" (2000). In 2004, Evil Nine released
their debut album You Can Be Special Too, which won the Breakspoll 2004 award
