Everything Is Recorded is the project of British producer Richard Russell,
co-founder of the XL Recordings label. Born in the London suburb of Dollis Hill
on March 18, 1971, Russell founded XL Recordings in 1989 with Tim Palmer and
Nick Halkes, and became a talent scout for the label, alongside his work as a
producer for Gil Scott-Heron, Bobby Womack, Damon Albarn, Ibeyi and Peter
