Eurogliders
Eurogliders were formed in Perth, Western Australia, in 1980 by guitarist and
vocalist Bernie Lynch, keyboardist Amanda Vincent, and later joined by Grace
Knight on lead vocals; the group emerged from the earlier band The Stockings and
Living Single. Their breakthrough came with the 1984 single "Heaven (Must Be
There)", which peaked at Number Two on the Australian singles chart and entered
the US Billboard Hot 100, and the album This Island, released in May 1984 and
produced by Nigel Gray, which reached Number Four on the Australian albums
