Etane
Etane, a rapper on the Toulouse scene, forges her musical universe at the
crossroads of rap, French chanson and electronic sounds. Originally from the
south of France, she began performing on stage as a child, with dance and
theater. It was during a period of illness, confined to her home, that she
discovered rap, hearing her brother try his hand at it. Together, they began
writing, rapping and producing, laying the foundations for a lasting artistic
collaboration. Etane honed her style with atypically placed freestyles and
