Alice Van Eesbeeck, professionally known as Essyla (born 30 March 1996 in
Perwez, Belgium), is a Belgian singer‑songwriter trained at the Royal Institute
of Music and Pedagogy in Namur. She first appeared on the national stage as a
member of the Belgian choir Almakalia in 2019, before returning to the spotlight
in 2021 when she competed in the ninth season of The Voice Belgium and finished
