Erin Bode, born in Wayzata, Minnesota, is an American singer. She began her
musical journey playing the trumpet and performing in theater productions during
high school. Bode continued her studies at the University of Minnesota before
transferring to Webster University, where she was introduced to jazz by pianist
Christine Hitt. Her first performance took place at the Missouri Athletic Club.
After graduating with a degree in music and foreign languages, Bode produced her
debut album Requests in 2001, which gained local attention due to its cover of
Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time...
