Carl Erik Gudmundson Sojdelius, born 31 July 1965 in Uppsala, Sweden, is a
Swedish singer who adopted the stage name Eric Gadd. After growing up in Visby
and later Vallentuna, he entered the music scene with his debut single "Ett
ensamt hjärta" in 1987, which led to the release of the album Hello the same
year. In 1989 he followed with the double album Hurra du lever! Pang du är död!
and the single "Kom Hit Och Ta", establishing his presence in the Swedish
pop‑R&B landscape. The early 1990s saw a shift toward English‑language releases,
with the album Do You Believe in Gadd? (1991...
