Eric Gustaf Ericson, born on October 26, 1918 in Borås, Sweden, was a Swedish
conductor and choirmaster. He studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm
and continued his training at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Switzerland and
in Germany, Great Britain, and the United States. In 1951 he became principal
conductor of the Orphei Drängar Singing Society and founded the Swedish Radio
Choir, serving as choirmaster until 1982. His recordings include Poulenc: Sacred
Choral Music / Musique Chorale Religieuse (1998), Bach: Christmas Oratorio
(2001), and Bach: 6 Motets (2006)....
