Eric Bellinger is an American R&B singer, songwriter, and producer, born Eric
Aldwin Bellinger Jr. on March 27, 1984, in Norwalk, California, and raised in
the Los Angeles/Compton area. The grandson of Bobby Day, the singer-songwriter
behind “Rockin’ Robin,” Bellinger entered the industry through songwriting in
the early 2010s, working with The Writing Camp and building credits for artists
such as Usher, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Trey Songz, and Big
