Equilibrium
This German heavy metal band, formed in 2001 by multi-instrumentalist René
Berthaume, was originally a one-night stand with his sidekicks, guitarist
Andreas Völkl and singer Helge Stang (replaced in 2010 by Robert Robse Dahn).
The formula of incorporating elements of folk tradition into their black metal
proved a lasting one, with the release of a debut album in 2005, Turis Fratyr,
featuring bassist Sandra Völkl, keyboard player Armin Dörfler and drummer Julius
