Eppu Normaali

Eppu Normaali, a Finnish rock group from Ylöjärvi, was formed in 1976 with singer Martti Syrjä, guitarists Mikko “Pantse” Syrjä and Juha Torvinen, bassist Mikko Saarela, and drummer Aku Syrjä. The band's name is derived from the film Frankenstein Junior. Eppu Normaali gained attention in 1977 after performing at the Rock Championship in Tampere, after which they were invited to record with Poko Rekords, releasing Aknepop in 1978.
