Real name Marwan Douiri, rapper Emino was born in La Manouba, a town in the
northwest suburbs of Tunis (the capital of Tunisia), on September 23, 1990. His
interest in rap began when he was just ten years old, and he was inspired by
American role models such as Snoop Dogg and 2Pac. He was just 14 when he was
about to release his first album, Moujehidin, but it was censored and never saw
the light of day. In 2009, Don Cameleon was released, followed in 2010-2011 by
the "Jasmine Revolution" in Tunisia, which led to the departure of Zine
