Elisio Borges De Vasconcelos, known professionally as Elizio, was born in 1979
in Luanda, Angola. He is a singer known for incorporating styles such as zouk,
kizomba, kuduro, dancefloor, electro, pop, and urban music. Fleeing civil war at
age two, he settled in France with his mother. His musical journey began with
performances on international stages in 2001. Elizio's breakthrough came in 2003
with the release of "10 fois, 100 fois" featuring Perle Lama, which topped the
Afro-Caribbean charts for six months and won the Dynamitch d'or for Best Duo in
