Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on November 10, 1989 to parents originally from
Taiwan, Tim Heng Wu made a name for himself as a DJ and electro producer under
the pseudonym Elephante. He learned to play guitar and piano, then studied
economics at Harvard, before finally embracing a career in music. Based in Los
Angeles, he specialized in remixing titrres on the assembly line for artists as
diverse as Katy Perry, Lorde, The Chainsmokers, Calvin Harris, Afrojack, Clean
Bandit, Jack Ü, Jason Derulo, Zedd and Bebe Rexha, before going solo in 2016
