Elaiza Ikeda (池田 エライザ, Ikeda Eraiza, born April 16, 1996 in Fukuoka Prefecture,
Japan) rose to fame as a model after winning the Grand Prix Nicola Model
Audition in 2009 and later added singing and acting to her credentials. Born to
a mother of Spanish Filipino Chinese descent and a Japanese father, the
Filipino-Japanese star known mononymously as Elaiza debuted as an actor in 2015
Japanese comedy-drama The Virgin Psychics, playing the role of Miyuki Hirano,
and has since appeared in a range of manga, TV shows and movies, portraying
