El Madmo
El Madmo is an American punk band consisting of Norah Jones (Maddie), Daru Oda
(El), and Andrew Borger (Mo). They formed as a fun side project, which allowed
Jones to perform incognito, providing her with a sense of freedom she couldn't
achieve solo due to her fame. They released the debut album EL MADMO in 2008 via
Team Love Records, a label founded by Conor Oberst. Prior to this release, they
created the unreleased demo 10 Song Demo in 2007. They also contributed the
track "Day And Night" to Brooklyn Boogaloo Blowout's album Who Burnt The Bacon?
in 2006.
