José Manuel Ruiz Rosa, known as El Chino, was born on October 14, 1953, in
Málaga, Spain, and was a flamenco singer, composer, and guitarist. He began his
musical journey at age nine, participating in local competitions. His early
career involved performing alongside Camarón de la Isla and Paco de Lucía. In
1978, El Chino founded the group ARTE-4. He moved to Venezuela for a contract
