In 1999, the Turin-based production company Bliss Corporation encouraged three
of its DJs to form Eiffel 65. The band's name was chosen at random by a
computer, but this industrial production method didn't stop the group from
releasing " Blue (Da Ba Dee)", a worldwide hit in 1999. Eiffel 65 followed up
with another hit, "Move your Body". The album Europop, also in 1999, reached No.
4 in the USA. Contact! (2001) and Eiffel 65 (2003) continued the success, before
Eiffel 65, now a duo, became Bloom 06 for contractual reasons. It wasn't until
