Edyta Małgorzata Bartosiewicz, born on January 11, 1965 in Warsaw, is a Polish
singer. She began playing guitar at age ten and studied at Nicolaus Copernicus
High School in Warsaw before moving to London in 1986. Upon returning to Warsaw,
Bartosiewicz joined the band Staff and won the Mokotowska Musical Autumn in
1989. Her solo career began with the album Love in 1992, which achieved Gold
status by 2001. Notable singles from this period include "If" and "Goodbye to
