Eddie Low
Edward Robert Low, professionally known as Eddie Low, was a blind New Zealand
country singer and multi-instrumentalist born on May 14, 1943, in Rotorua, New
Zealand. He began his career in the early 1960s with his brother in the band The
Chevronaires, later joining The Truetones and the showband The Quin Tikis. He
gained national exposure through the Miss New Zealand Extravaganza tours before
launching a solo career in 1969. Low released his debut solo studio albums,
