Eddie Allen
Eddie Allen, born on July 12, 1957 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is an American jazz
trumpeter and flugelhornist. His breakthrough arrived in the early 1990s when he
released the debut album Another's Point of View on Enja Records in 1993.
Subsequent releases include R 'n' B (1995) and Remembrance (1998). Allen
collaborated with artists such as Muhal Richard Abrams, Lester Bowie, Art
Blakey, and Dizzy Gillespie. Allen continued to record into the 2010s, issuing
Push (2014) and Jazzy Brass for the Holidays (2019).
