Eastern Conference Champions
Eastern Conference Champions, an American indie rock band from Philadelphia and
later based in Los Angeles, was formed in 2005 by Joshua Ostrander and Greg
Lyons. They released their debut EP, The Southampton Collection, in 2006. The
band signed with Geffen/Suretone Records and worked with producer Owen Morris to
release their first full-length album, Ameritown, in 2007. Melissa Dougherty
joined in 2009 following the departure of founding bassist Vern Zaborowski.
Eastern Conference Champions gained significant attention when their rendition
