The Dutch Swing College Band is a Dutch traditional jazz band formed in 1945 in
the Netherlands. The group was established as an amateur combo of students. The
initial lineup included Peter Schilperoort, Frans Vink, Henny Frohwein, and
Tonny Nüsser. They performed as The Quartet of The Dutch Swing College before
adopting the name Dutch Swing College Band in 1946. Their first recordings were
released in 1948. In 1960, the group transitioned to a professional status.
