Dudley Stuart John Moore, born April 19, 1935, in London, England, died March 27, 2002, in Plainfield, New Jersey, United States, was an English actor, comedian, jazz pianist, and composer. Moore gained prominence in the 1960s as a member of the comedy revue Beyond the Fringe and formed a comedy partnership with Peter Cook on the television series Not Only... But Also, the film Bedazzled in 1967, and the Derek and Clive comedy albums in the 1970s.
