Dub Trio
Dub Trio, a dub/rock cross-over band from Brooklyn, New York City, was formed in
2004 by DP Holmes on guitar, Stu Brooks on bass, and Joe Tomino on drums. Their
debut album Exploring the Dangers Of was released in 2004. Dub Trio's style
blended dub with elements of rock and metal, drawing inspiration from King
Tubby’s work. In 2006, they released their second album, New Heavy, which
featured the vocal track "Not Alone" with Mike Patton. The following year, they
recorded the live album Cool Out And Coexist at Union Pool in Brooklyn. Their
third studio album, Another Sound Is Dying...
