Dresdner Kreuzchor is a German boys' choir based in Dresden, established by 1371
as part of the Kreuzschule. The ensemble consisted of 123 members between the
ages of 9 and 19 who performed as a mixed-voice choir. Its repertoire spanned
from the Baroque works of Heinrich Schütz to the premiere of Chaya Czernowin's
“Pilgerfahrten”. The choir collaborated with the Dresden Philharmonic and the
Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden. Starting in the late 1950s, the group produced
recordings for labels including Berlin Classics, Capriccio, Teldec, and Deutsche
