DRAG
Drag is an Australian rock band formed by Darren Middleton and Mark McElligott
of Powderfinger in 2000 as a side project. The band recruited bassist Sean
Hartman with pianist Matt Murphy joining later. In 2002, they released their
first EP Gas Food Lodging. The band's debut album, The Way Out, was recorded in
early 2005 and released on July 10, 2005, through the record label Dew Process.
Following the album's release, Drag toured Australia with UK band Athlete and
later embarked on a headlining tour.
