Doug Wamble, born Samuel Douglas Wamble on October 22, 1972, in Clarksville,
Tennessee, is an American jazz guitarist and vocalist. Inspired by Charlie
Christian's records, Wamble initially pursued audio engineering at Memphis State
University but switched his focus after seeing Harry Connick Jr. and Russell
Malone perform live. He earned a master's degree from Northwestern University
and formed a band with Roy Dunlap, Jeff Hanley, and Peter Miles during his time
