Donald James Ross, also known as Don Ross, born November 19, 1960, in Montreal,
Quebec, is a Canadian fingerstyle guitarist. He studied composition at York
University before pursuing music full-time. In 1986, Ross produced his first
album, Kehewin, which was released in 1988, and began performing with various
ensembles. His breakthrough came in 1988 when he won the National Fingerstyle
Guitar Championship for the first time; he repeated this achievement in 1996. He
