William Omar Landrón Rivera (born on February 10, 1978, in Santurce), known
professionally as Don Omar, emerged from Puerto Rico’s late-1990s underground
into mainstream reggaeton in the early 2000s, breaking through internationally
with The Last Don (2003) and the era-defining singles “Dale Don Dale” and
