Terry K. Allen, born April 19, 1964, is an American record producer from
Inglewood, California. Known as DJ Slip, he is a founding member of several
influential gangsta rap groups, including Compton's Most Wanted, X-Factor, and
N.O.T.R., making him one of the pioneers of the genre. His early work included
singles such as "It's My Turn" (1987) and "Revenge Of The X-Men" (1988). His
work with Compton's Most Wanted included albums such as It's a Compton Thang
(1990), Straight Checkn 'Em (1991), and Music to Driveby (1992).
