DJ Semtex, born John Fairbanks, is a British DJ known from Manchester, known for
his contributions to hip-hop and grime music. He began his career promoting
parties in Manchester and playing at venues like The Haçienda. In 2002, he
started hosting a Friday night show on BBC Radio 1Xtra. DJ Semtex released mixes
