Marco Antonio da Silva, known professionally as DJ Marky, was born on June 14,
1973, in Brazil and is a prominent figure in the drum'n'bass and electronic
music scenes. He began his career in 1992 and gained significant attention by
1997 when he met DJ Hype and Goldie during a trip to London. This encounter led
to an invitation from Bryan Gee, head of V Recordings, to perform in London,
resulting in residencies at Movement and The End club, as well as work for BBC
