DJ Irene
DJ Irene, born Irene Mejia Gutiérrez on July 19, 1962, in Downey, California,
U.S., performed as an electronic, progressive dance, hard house, trance, and
dubstep DJ and producer. Irene began a career with the release of the debut
album Hard House Diva (1998), which included the single "Weatha Beatin Hoochie
Bitch" (1998) featuring Stacey Hollywood. Following this, the DJ released a
series of albums including Global House Diva (2001), Audio Underground (2002),
